Privacy Policy

deluded.gg is a personal website operated by Deluded. This policy explains what information is processed when you visit or contact me, why it is used, and how to contact me about your privacy.

Contact messages

If you contact me, I receive your name or username, your message, and the email address and/or Discord username you provide. The form requires at least one reply method. I use this information to read your request, respond, and manage the resulting correspondence. Please do not include passwords or other sensitive information.

The form is configured to deliver messages and a submission timestamp through Resend to [email protected], hosted by Zoho Mail. When delivery is enabled, these providers process the message for delivery and mailbox storage. If you provide an email address, it is used as the reply address. Contact details are not added to a mailing list or used for advertising.

Hosting and security

Cloudflare provides the website’s hosting and security infrastructure. Serving and protecting the site involves processing technical information such as IP addresses, requested pages, request times, and browser or device information. Cloudflare may retain operational and security logs under its service settings and policies.

The contact page uses Cloudflare Turnstile to prevent automated abuse. It processes your IP address and technical browser, device, and connection signals, along with verification results. The form server sends the verification token and your IP address to Cloudflare to check the submission. Cloudflare also uses Turnstile signals to improve its detection services. For rate limiting and duplicate prevention, the form service stores keyed hashes derived from IP addresses and message contents, random request identifiers, timestamps, and delivery status in Cloudflare D1. These are security records, not anonymous visitor statistics. Message text, names, email addresses, Discord usernames, raw IP addresses, and verification tokens are not saved in that database. The application does not log submitted contact details or message contents.

Website analytics — planned

Cloudflare Web Analytics and Google Analytics 4 are planned additions. They have not yet been added as part of this website’s analytics setup. The following describes their intended use once enabled; this policy will be updated to reflect the actual settings at activation.

Cloudflare Web Analytics will help measure page views, traffic sources, browser and device categories, and page-loading performance. Cloudflare describes this service as using no analytics cookies or local storage and no fingerprinting to track visitors over time. See Cloudflare Web Analytics.

Google Analytics 4 (GA4) is intended to help understand visits, page views, traffic sources, and site interactions. It can process page URLs, referring sites, device and browser details, approximate location, and cookie-based identifiers such as the _ga identifier. Google receives connection information, including your IP address; Google states that GA4 does not log or store individual IP addresses. The intended setup is standard website measurement, without Google Signals, remarketing, or advertising personalization. Contact-form contents and reply details are not sent to analytics.

Cookies and your choices

The current website does not set analytics cookies. Cloudflare’s security features may use necessary storage or cookies depending on their configuration; these are distinct from optional analytics. Fonts and background images are served with the website, and social profiles are links rather than embedded feeds.

GA4 is not currently active. Before optional cookie-based analytics is enabled, any consent controls required by applicable law must be in place, including a way to refuse analytics and withdraw consent. This policy itself is not a request for consent. You can also manage or delete cookies through your browser settings.

Search performance tools

Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools are planned for monitoring search visibility, search queries, clicks, indexing, and crawl issues. These reports come from the search providers. Verifying site ownership through DNS records or verification meta tags does not itself install a visitor-tracking script on this website. These tools are separate from GA4.

Sharing and service providers

Information is processed by the providers needed to operate the website, protect the form, deliver messages, and, when enabled, measure usage. Email processing is described in the Resend Privacy Policy and Zoho Privacy Policy. Providers may process information outside your country under their applicable terms and data-protection arrangements.

I do not sell your contact information. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or necessary to address abuse or protect legal rights. When you follow an external profile link, that service’s own privacy policy applies.

How long information is kept

Contact correspondence is kept only as long as needed to respond, manage related issues, and meet any applicable legal obligations. You can request deletion by contacting me. Email providers may retain delivery records and backup copies under their own service arrangements.

Form rate-limit records expire after one hour and duplicate-prevention records after 24 hours. Expired records are deleted when a subsequent submission is processed, so they may remain physically stored until that cleanup runs. Provider-managed logs and backups can have separate retention periods. Analytics retention settings will be specified when analytics is enabled; no analytics retention period is claimed while those services are not active.

Your privacy rights and contact

Depending on the laws that apply to you, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of personal information, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent where processing relies on it, or complain to a data-protection authority. Requests are subject to applicable legal requirements and exceptions.
